Actress Gopika who got married to an Ireland based medical practitioner Ajilesh recently was at Velankanni church with her husband to give thanks to God.

Gopika had already announced that she’ll be visiting the church for a thanksgiving prayer for giving her a good husband.Thousands of fans came over to have a glimpse of her. After the prayer service, she had to be escorted by police personnel to her car.

Gopika's betrothal took place in Trissur

It is the season that brings about a lot of cheer and happiness for actress Gopika. She has been betrothed with Ajilesha, a medical practitioner based in Ireland. The betrothal took place in Gopika’s home town of Trissur and the marriage will take place in Ernakulam on the 17th of this month.

Joy’s Palace was the five-star-hotel in which the betrothal took place amidst scores of relatives and well wishers. Apart from close relatives and friends Kerala State ministers in the form of Rajendran and Viswanathan were present. Actors Bhavana, Biju Menon, Samvirtha, Ramya Nambeesan, Samyuktha and many more were also present.

Dressed in a stunning red and yellow gagra choli, Gopika looked as pretty as ever. The couple gifted each other with diamond rings.The marriage will take place on the 17th of this month at the St. Thomas Church in Ernakulam followed by a reception party at the Avenue Center on the 20th.

After marriage, the couple will settle down in Ireland.

Gopika tensed because of Chechi

Any actress be not happy if she is addressed as Chechi . Because it sounds that the actress is older or elder. Gopika, one of the leading actresses in Mollywood and Kollywood, also does not like to be called in this manner.

Gopika has already ordered Poorna not to address her as Chechi! Who is Poorna? Poorna, whose previous name was Shamna Kasim, had acted opposite Mammootty and Mohanlal in Malayalam films and is the latest heroine migrated from Malayalam to Tamil. She is playing the lead role opposite Bharath in Muniyandi Vilangiyal Mundram Aandu as Tamarai.
