Actress Tamanna Bhatia and cricketer Virat Kohli has joined hands for a Tv commerial of a popular mobile brand.

The two had recently shot for the ad in Mumbai, which was directed by Telugu director Trivikram Srinivas.

Tamanna’s father informs media, “Yes, Tamannaah is currently shooting with cricketer Virat Kohli in Mumbai. Right now, only the photo shoot is being done for the print ads. The television commercial will be shot later this month. She is thrilled to be working with a cricketer for the first time, especially because Virat Kohli, who is one of the best cricketers around and is a youth icon.”

We hear that the brand wanted to cash in on the popularity of the two, as they are currently the youth heartthrobs.

Tamanna charged 1.25 crores for liplock!

Responding to the rumours that she has charged a whopping Rs 1.25 crores to perform a liplock scene with Jr. NTR in her upcoming Telugu film Oosaravelli, directed by talented director Surender Reddy, ravishing actress Tamanna said that she will never liplock, stating that she is uncomfortable with kissing scenes.

The actress revealed that the first line in her contract say that she would never wear a bikini or act in a liplock scene. "No matter how much money is offered, I will never do it," she said. The actress also lashed out at the media for spreading such rumours.

Oosaravelli is produced by B.V.N.S. Prasad under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra. Devi Sri Prasad is scoring its music. The shooting will commence soon.

According to new reports, Tamanna has agreed to sport a bikini in Ram Charan Teja's forthcoming film Rachcha, starting from May 22 in Hyderabad.

Interestingly, Ram Charan Teja underwent 45 days physical training at David Barton’s gym to develop his 8 pack abs, the major attraction of the film, and to match up with the hero’s effort, the makers asked the heroine to sport the two piece bikini, consequently adding more glamour to the movie, it is heard.

Rachcha, an out-and-out commercial film by director Sampanth Nandi (who earlier directed Emaindi Ee Vela with Varun Sandesh), is produced by Paras Jain and N.V. Prasad under the banner of Mega Super Good Films. Devi Sri Prasad is scoring music.

Actress Tamannaah is undoubtedly one of the leading actresses in both Kollywood and Tollywood.  Though she has a solitary project in ‘Venghai’ opposite Dhanush in Tamil, she is busy as a bee in Telugu, with a couple of her big films getting ready for release.

The picture-perfect Tamannaah is also a much sought-after actress on the modeling front and is often spotted on television endorsing a variety of products from food items to bathing soaps.  Thanks to a steady Telugu market, her fee is said to be on the risi for the past few years.

Tammu, as she is fondly called by her fans, is said to have ‘breached’ the Re.1 crore barrier as her fee for a film some time back.  She is also said to be demanding and getting more money for her stage performances too.  For a 3-minute long performance at a recent event, she reportedly asked for and got Rs.3 lakhs, it is said.

Recently, Tamannaah took part in the audio-launch of her upcoming Telugu film ‘100 Percent Love’ opposite Naga Chaitanya, who was conspicuous by his absence at the event.  To perform for a song on stage at the event, Tamannaah was reportedly paid Rs.3 lakhs.  This appears to be ‘going’ against the accepted convention that actors and actresses shouldn’t be paid at functions relating to launch of film and audio-launches!

The movie which stars her and Nagar Chaitanys in the lead is a love story. The actress who was initially apprehensive in doing the dance later had accepted with the Director Sukumar convinced hear say sources.

The Paiiya actress surprised Director Lingusamy with her on stage Dance act, as she had never entertained such persuasions from the Directors before.

Now it is said that Telugu director Sukumar paid a whooping amount of Rs.3 lacks for 3 minute dance which has convinced the actress to accept the stage show.

After the super success of Magadheera which turned out to be the highest grossing Telugu language film of all time, the makers are yet again ready with a romantic-historical drama Badrinath featuring the Arya star Allu Arjun. This is Allu’s first release after his marriage with Sneha Reddy.

The audience is eagerly waiting for their Bunny to come on screen as Badrinath. The beautiful Tamanna gets to play Allu Arjun’s heroine in the film. Allu has completed its shooting and is busy with post production. The movie is scheduled to release on May 26. The makers of the movie revealed the first look of the movie on the eve of Ugadi. No doubt Allu Arjun looks dashing in the look of an Indian Samurai but the makers are saying that it is a present day love drama entertainer and not a socio-fantasy. Bollywood heartthrob Imran Khan will be seen making a special appearance in the film.

Arya, Anushka and Tamannah will become Kalaiamamanis from February 13, when Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi would present them the awards at a colourful function at Valluvar Kottam in Chennai.

Circles close to Arya said that the actor was excited to know Friday night that he was selected for the coveted honour. “He was happy on hearing the good news. His friends have been asking him to throw a party,” they say.

A source close to Tamannah said she never expected such a great honour. “When we explained her the value of Kalaimamani award, she felt extremely happy. She is thankful to all those who are supporting her.”

And Anushka, the ‘Vettaikaran’ and ‘Singam’ heroine, felt Kalaimamani as one of the greatest honours she had received so far. “Since it is presented by the Tamil Nadu government, she knows the importance of Kalaimamani,” sources say.

Karthi- One question that looms large on Karthi is about his wedding. This hot and happening hero of Kollywood had refuted all rumors about his relationship with his co-star Tamannah and said that his family is looking for a suitable match for him.

When questioned about this during a recent interview, the actor once again reiterated that a hunt is on to find him a bride but his parents are yet to zero in on one. However, Karthi added that his marriage will take place soon. Can we expect the star to enter into wedlock in 2011?
