Singam 2 Movie Release Date to Plan

Surya is busy acting for his upcoming movie and his first sequel Singam 2 under Studio Green banner and the makers are planning to release the movie in April/May, for 2013 summer. Suriya’s Singam 2 is taking fast shape in the hands of director Hari and casts Hansika, Anushka, Anjali, Vivek, Santhanam, Vijayakumar, Nassar, Radha Ravi, Manorama et al. Devi Sri Prasad has already started composing soundtracks for Singam 2 and the unit I planning for a grand audio launch soon, however date is not revealed yet. Mani Ratnam has completed the shoot of his Kadal on Monday (Nov 5) in Chennai. The buzz is that after Mani broke the traditional Poosinika (Pumpkin) a ritual in Kollywood after completion of the shoot of the film and there was a wrap-up party for all unit members. There was a press release that noted director Venkat Prabhu’s next film will be veteran producer Muktha Srinivasan and the company Muktha Entertainment that he had set up with his nephew. It was but natural for the media to think that it was the Venkat-Suriya film, as they had planned to come together.
