Villu is ready for the blast

 
The Villu fever is touching new levels. The advance booking that opened on Friday (Jan 9), for the film releasing on January 12, has been amazing. All the seven screens in Chennai have been sold out for the first one week.

On Friday evening Ayngaran International held a press conference at Green Park in Chennai. Vijay, director Prabhu Deva, cameraman Ravi Varman, music director Devi Sri Prasad and producers Karunamoorthy and Arun Pandian attended the function.

Vijay in his speech said : " We have given Prabhu Deva a new name after Villu, the magic man as he made everything possible. It is my costliest film and very similar to a Bond movie. He thanked cameraman Ravi Varman for "making me handsome and dashing in the film" Technically Vijay said it is his best film till date, and he wished it was his 50th film!

Prabhu Deva said in his speech: " I got the full cooperation of producer Karuna and Arun sir, without them it would not have been possible. They met all our shooting requirements without asking any questions." He also said: "It is Vijay's most stylish film till date. The way he has danced to Devi's tune is fantastic." On Nayanthara, Prabhu said: "She looks gorgeous in the film, and her scenes with vijay and Vadivel will bring the house down."

Ravi Varman, the cameraman said the film has been shot in various locations in South India, Switzerland, Malaysia and Bangkok. "The film combines technical gloss with mass elements. The DI work is superb and on the whole it will be a treat.".
