Ram Gopal Varma’s Raktha Charithra is based on a true life incident that happened in Andhra Pradesh a few years ago. It is also well known that Suriya marks his entry to Bollywood with this film. The movie we hear will go on for five hours and will be divided into two parts – something that is new to the Indian film industry.
The shooting of this film is currently in progress and the two parts will hit the screens within a gap of three months, according to sources.
The filmmaker, sources say, is keen on keeping Raktha Charithra from the prying eyes of the media and paparazzi. It is said that RGV is very secretive about this project and has issued instructions not to divulge any details. Even when the media hounds the director with questions about this project, he replies that it must remain suspense till the release.
