Muriyadi, directed by Selva and produced by Kavithalaya, is all set to grace theatres in December (for Christmas). The movie features Ganesh Venkatraman and Sathyaraj in the main roles. This is the 59th project of the banner and will have director K. Balachander in an important role. The role was earlier offered to Nasser; later, the veteran director took over the role himself.
Muriyadi is the Tamil remake of the Malayalam film Passenger starring Dileep and Sreenivasan. Ganesh Venkatraman enacts the lawyer’s role played by Dileep and Sathyaraj plays the role of Sreenivasan, a common man. Music of Muriyadi is composed by D. Imman.
