The audio of Balaji Studios Uthamaputhiran, featuring Dhanush and Genelia was launched at a five star hotel in Chennai on Tuesday (Oct 5) evening.
The lead actors along with Vivek , music director Vijay Antony, director Mithran R Jawahar and the technical crew attended the function.
The audio was released by director Mithran’s ‘mentor and guru’, veteran director Mahendran in the presence of producers Kalaipuli S Thanu, RB Chowdhary, LMM Murali, director KS Ravikumar and others.
The cynosure of all eyes was Hansraj Saxena, the COO of Sun Pictures for making Enthiran a super hit.
Dhanush spoke about the film and asserted that it will be a perfect family outing for Diwali and also invited his co-artists like Aarathy and others on stage. Genelia in her speech said that she was very happy to be a part of the film and thoroughly enjoyed it.
Three songs and a trailer of the film were screened. Vijay Antony in his speech said: “I enjoyed the film during the re-recording. It is a super comedy especially in the second half when Vivek and Dhanush cross swords. There are six peppy numbers in the film which is sure to rock.”
The producers of the film Mohan Apparao and T Ramesh confirmed that Uthamaputhiran will be a Diwali release on November 5.
