Two parts of ‘Raththa Charithiram’ are being made and what those in Tamil Nadu could be able to watch is only the second part, which, according to sources, has more scope for Suriya.
Director of the film Ram Gopal Varma, who is getting ready for the first part’s release (in Hindi and Telugu) on October 22, said on Monday that the movie’s second part will hit the screens on November 19 and so will be Tamil version. To be distributed by Dhayanidhi Alagiri’s Cloud Nine Movies, the Kollywood version too has Suriya, Vivek Oberoi and Priyamani in lead roles. Known for his penchant for gangster themes, RGV has narrated the story of a slain political leader of Andhra Pradesh.
For Suriya, what follows ‘Raththa Charithiram’ is also a trilingual- ‘7am Arivu’. Directed by A R Murugadoss, an established name in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi film industries, the film which has Shruthi Hassan as the heroine is produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin.
