Kajal Agarwal is turning out to be the "lucky mascot" for Tollywood heroes. Her latest Mr Perfect with Prabhas is a hit. She always gives new lease of life to Telugu heroes who were earlier going through a bad patch like Prabhas.
But Kajal is yet to churn out a hit in Tamil. Take a look at her Kollywood attempts- Palani, Bommalattam, Modi Vilayattu and Naan Mahan Alla. Except for her last release with Karthi, which was average, all others were colossal flops.
Kajal now desperately needs a sure fire hit in Kollywood. The grapevine has it that she is the frontrunner to be Suriya's heroine in KV Anand's Matraan. She is hoping that being a Suriya film her luck will change in Kollywood.
Meanwhile, her career in Bollywood where she is debuting opposite Ajay Devgn will be known by July , when the film releases.
But industry analysts feel that she is better of doing Telugu films where she is queen and gets a hefty salary than doing all languages.
She has been chosen by Pawan Kalyan to be his heroine in Gabbar Singh, the Telugu remake of Dabbang.
